As more negligent or inexperienced drivers travel on our roads, it makes it a more challenging experience for Connecticut drivers to face on a daily basis. Due to this, a number of drivers take precautions to ensure the drive to their destination is safe. Recently, a serious car crash resulted in injuries to two drivers.
The accident happened on a recent Tuesday night at an intersection. According to reports, the driver of a Kia drove into oncoming traffic when he crashed into the driver of a Chevy sedan. Medics arrived at the scene and transported the drivers to the hospital for treatment. Reports indicate that both drivers sustained serious injuries with one suffering internal injuries. At last report, the drivers' conditions were stable.
It is not known if authorities plan on issuing any citations or charges in regard to the accident. The investigation is continuing, and authorities are reaching out for the public's help with more information in this matter. No other details have been reported.
A car crash can be burdensome to victims who experience it, especially when they suffer from serious injuries. Victims often experience pain and suffering and face financial burdens due to lost wages and medical expenses. As the driver of the Chevy recuperates from her injuries, she may decide to file a personal injury claim against the driver of the Kia to recoup damages. The civil court system in Connecticut typically adjudicates these types of cases and may award damages if evidence deems the other party operated in a negligent manner that caused injuries.
