D'Amico & Pettinicchi is proud to be a 'baker's dozen' sponsor for the annual Connecticut Trial Lawyer Association's Cookin' for a Cause on April 28 at the New Haven Country Club in Hamden, CT.
As part of the Baker's Dozen, the firm donated $2,000, which will benefit House of Heroes Connecticut, a nonprofit organization that assists local military and public service veterans and their spouses. D'Amico & Pettinicchi has been a Baker's Dozen sponsor every year since 2013. Along with the donation, the lawyers and staff will be providing baked goods for the silent auction and contributing a large auction item.
Since its inception, Cookin' for a Cause has raised over $180,000 for local businesses, including the Newtown Memorial Fund and Wounded Warrior Project.
Local celebrities Scot Haney and Eric Parker from WFSB Channel 3 will be the masters of ceremony at this year's event. Prominent attorneys, as well as chefs from Connecticut's finest restaurants, will be serving up food and desserts. Attendees can bid to taste their favorites, and the higher the bid, the more is raised for House of Heroes. Prizes will also be awarded to the best chefs.
D'Amico & Pettinicchi is excited for the annual event and proud to be supporting a worthy cause once again. The firm encourages others to join in on the fun by becoming a sponsor, making a donation or volunteering for the event.
